Yay, so this is my first iphone video recording, and my first youtube upload! This Japanese guy was simply amazing, and this was just one of his many astonishing routines. I was lucky to have witnessed this with my own eyes at Union Square and I kept saying to myself, there are so many people out there doing things so interesting and so different from what we’re doing, but most of the cases we are not even aware.
Be curious, because life is still full of surprises.
I went to OneRepublic‘s concert this Wednesday. They are doing their world tour and only stopping in NY for one night. Ternimal 5 is crazily remote from everything else in the city and it is like a broadway show theatre except that there are no seats! Well, there are a few seats on the 2nd and 3rd floor but either you get there super early or you are some sort of secret VIP.
But I had a blast, like in a big club. I was there for 3 hours and actually OneRepublic didn’t show up until the last hour. They had Alpha Rae as the first cover band and one of the guitar players (I’m 99% sure he’s Japanese) was so into it because he was shaking his head the entire time like crazy, but he’s absolutely beautiful. And Sarah came out for another hour and her songs are cheerful and energetic and she’s definitely not afraid of cracking jokes and drinking on stage, knowing nobody down there has ever heard about her, probably.
No surprise: Sex and city II did not receive good reviews. Yet, I liked that movie. Because I get it, and it makes sense to me. There are a few moments that really touched my heart too, for example when Carrie asked Big “are we enough?” and Big’s answer was “we’re too much”. But the significance about this movie is that it all comes down to the idea of being a strong woman.
“I am strong, I am invincible”, probably the lyric from I Am Woman said it better than anyone else. But how?
To be Honest: after you settle down in a stable relationship, or even after you’re married, you might still be attracted to someone else. This is normal. It takes time, courage, and sometimes even exactly that someone else along the way to make you fully realize how precious your relationship actually is, what you really want, and here your heart belongs. Carrie told Big about the kiss with Eden after all. I guess she wants to be honest with Big, but she needs to be honest with herself.
I like watching the Apprentice because the show pushes you to think what would you say or do when you were put in a similar challenging position. By getting celebrities on the show, it just gives you a better reason to watch it and makes the show more entertaining.
In the latest episode, the challenge is to do fundraising by creating a whole-day work-out routine for 24-hour Fitness. The more favorable routine will be honored $24,000 by the gym, and whichever team raise the most money will win the challenge. The difficult part is that you have to have one person physically coming in for the training class to represent each donation.
Somewhat surprisingly, though Tenacity was the bigger fund raiser, Rock Solid was favored by the gym. What would you walk away with this experience then? Lessons learned…
For starters, let’s focus on the gym routine.
1. Have a good theme.
